International Walk and Roll Day
Join Valley View for International Walk and Roll to School Day! We will celebrate our school spirit, our health, and the environment with the Alameda County Safe Routes to Schools program. This year, our school will celebrate in-person at the schoolyard. With your family and friends, you can participate by:
Taking a walk, or riding a bike, skateboard, or scooter
Biking with your child on their own or with a trail-a-bike
Taking the bus with your child and walking to and from the bus stop
Joining our Walking School Bus
Thank you to everyone who made this year’s Fun Run such a wonderful experience for our students! It was a day filled with energy, school spirit, and great memories. A special thank you to our PTA and all the parent volunteers—your hard work made it all possible. We also appreciate everyone who came out to cheer on the kids and those who generously donated to our school.
We truly value the support of our entire school community. We’re excited to celebrate all of our top lap winners in the Mustang Memo and on the marquee as part of their prize, and we’re always looking for ways to make future events even more engaging and fun for our amazing runners!
Most importantly, events like the Fun Run remind us that our children learn from the way we come together as one school community, rooted in kindness and respect for each other. Our focus on our students, their joy, and the spirit of fun and togetherness shows them what it means to be part of something bigger than ourselves. Thank you for helping create a day that reflects the very best of who we are as a school.
