Math is amazing!
Students, families, educators, and community members convened on Monday, October 27, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00pm for an early evening of games, puzzles, creativity, and collaboration—inspired by mathematics.
Students in our junior chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) leadership council facilitated math-themed activities.
Collegiate members of the NSBE chapters at Temple University and the University of Pennsylvania led engineering activities.
Students in our WHYY Media Lab program helped with the photo booth.

The Wildcat Workshop at Marian Anderson was proud to partner with the Philadelphia STEM Equity Collective (PSEC), which aims to unite educators, students, professionals, community leaders, and families in addressing systemic barriers and promoting equitable access to STEM fields and showcasing the vibrant STEM programs Philadelphia has to offer.
This event was part of Philadelphia STEM Equity Week 2025 organized by the Philadelphia STEM Equity Collective.
