Creating Videos in a Makerspace
Explore possibilities for writing, storytelling, and digital media creation in this session that features two classroom projects: grade 2 shadow puppet stories and grade 6 food commercials. For each project, students plan, design, script, record, and edit videos. Participants in this session will engage with routines and scaffolds for supporting writing, creativity, story and character development, media literacy, and collaboration.
