Math is amazing!
Marian Anderson students, families, educators, and community members convened on Monday, October 28, 2024, from 4:00 to 6:00pm for an early evening of games, puzzles, creativity, and collaboration—inspired by mathematics.
Students in our junior chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) leadership council helped facilitate math-themed activities.
Members of the NSBE chapters at Temple University and the University of Pennsylvania led activities related to math and engineering.
Planning committee members included Ms. McCaney, Ms. Kahler, Mr. Burks, Mr. Gerstemeier, Mr. Smith, and Ms. Walker (MANAS).
