CALL FOR PAPERS
Special Session on
Mathematical Foundations to Intelligent Systems: From Pure Theory to Emerging Applications
Under the International Conference on Mathematical Sciences and Computational Intelligence (ICMSCI-2026)
February 20–22, 2026
The Department of Mathematics, P.G.D.A.V. College, University of Delhi, in collaboration with Faculty of Mathematical Sciences, University of Delhi, IIT Mandi and NIT Uttarakhand, cordially invites researchers, academicians, scientists, industry experts, and research scholars to submit their original and unpublished research papers for a Special Session on "Mathematical Foundations to Intelligent Systems: From Pure Theory to Emerging Applications" under the International Conference on Mathematical Sciences and Computational Intelligence (ICMSCI-2026).
This special session focuses on the pivotal role of mathematical foundations in shaping intelligent systems and emerging applications. It brings together recent developments in pure and applied mathematics, emphasizing how abstract theories evolve into effective computational and analytical frameworks. The session highlights mathematical modeling, optimization, statistical inference, and soft computing techniques that support data science, machine learning, and interdisciplinary research. By bridging rigorous mathematical theory with real-world applications, the session encourages innovative problem-solving approaches and cross-disciplinary collaboration. It aims to provide a platform for researchers to present original contributions that demonstrate the relevance of mathematics in advancing modern computational intelligence and technology-driven applications.
The proposed special session strongly aligns with the themes of ICMSCI-2026 by emphasizing the foundational role of mathematical sciences in soft computing, computational intelligence, data analytics, and emerging interdisciplinary applications. It complements the conference focus on intelligent systems by highlighting rigorous mathematical theories, models, and algorithms that drive advancements in machine learning, optimization, and decision-making frameworks. By integrating pure and applied mathematics with modern computational paradigms, the session fosters interdisciplinary research and innovation, thereby contributing directly to ICMSCI-2026 objectives of promoting theory-driven intelligent solutions for real-world challenges.
