CALL FOR PAPERS
Special Session on
Recent Developments and Applications of Fractional Calculus in Applied Mathematics
Under the International Conference on Mathematical Sciences and Computational Intelligence (ICMSCI-2026)
February 20–22, 2026
The Department of Mathematics, P.G.D.A.V. College, University of Delhi, in collaboration with Faculty of Mathematical Sciences, University of Delhi, IIT Mandi and NIT Uttarakhand, cordially invites researchers, academicians, scientists, industry experts, and research scholars to submit their original and unpublished research papers for a Special Session on "Recent Developments and Applications of Fractional Calculus in Applied Mathematics" under the International Conference on Mathematical Sciences and Computational Intelligence (ICMSCI-2026).
Fractional calculus has emerged as a robust mathematical framework for modeling memory, hereditary, and nonlocal effects in complex systems. This special session aims to highlight recent theoretical developments and real-world applications of fractional calculus in mathematical modeling. The session will bring together researchers working on fractional-order differential and partial differential equations, as well as numerical and analytical methods, with applications in epidemiology, infectious disease dynamics, biological systems, and engineering sciences. Contributions involving special functions, integral transforms, stability analysis, and computational techniques are particularly encouraged to foster interdisciplinary research and innovation.
Topics of Interest
Fractional-order ordinary and partial differential equations
Fractional calculus in epidemiology and infectious disease modeling
Mathematical modeling of biological and physical systems
Special functions (Mittag-Leffler, H-function, I-function, Aleph-function)
Numerical and computational methods for fractional differential equations
Stability, existence, uniqueness, and bifurcation analysis of fractional models
