CALL FOR PAPERS
Special Session on
Quantum Computing Advances
Under the International Conference on Mathematical Sciences and Computational Intelligence (ICMSCI-2026)
February 20–22, 2026
The Department of Mathematics, P.G.D.A.V. College, University of Delhi, in collaboration with Faculty of Mathematical Sciences, University of Delhi, IIT Mandi and NIT Uttarakhand, cordially invites researchers, academicians, scientists, industry experts, and research scholars to submit their original and unpublished research papers for a Special Session on "Quantum Computing Advances" under the International Conference on Mathematical Sciences and Computational Intelligence (ICMSCI-2026).
The special session on Quantum Computing Advances focuses on recent breakthroughs that are shaping the future of computation. It highlights progress in quantum hardware including more reliable qubits, scalable architecture and improved error correction techniques. The session also explores advances in quantum algorithms and software, emphasizing applications in cryptography, optimization, drug discovery, material science and artificial intelligence. In addition, discussions address current challenges such as noise, decoherence and practical implementation. By bringing together researchers, practitioners and industry experts this session aims to bridge theory and practice and showcase how emerging quantum technologies are moving closer to real world impact.
A special session on Quantum Computing Advances is highly relevant to ICMSCI 2026 themes because quantum computing is deeply rooted in mathematical theory and is reshaping computational intelligence paradigms. Quantum Algorithms rely on linear algebra, probability theory, optimization and discrete mathematics, while quantum information theory extends classical computational models. At the same time, quantum computing enhances computational intelligence through quantum machine learning, faster optimization and improved data processing capabilities. This session aligns with the conference's focus by bringing advanced mathematical foundations with next generation computational intelligent techniques highlighting how quantum approaches can solve complex problems beyond the limits of classical computing.
