CALL FOR PAPERS
Special Session on
Leveraging Artificial Intelligence to Foster Environmental Sustainability
Under the International Conference on Mathematical Sciences and Computational Intelligence (ICMSCI-2026)
February 20–22, 2026
The Department of Mathematics, P.G.D.A.V. College, University of Delhi, in collaboration with Faculty of Mathematical Sciences, University of Delhi, IIT Mandi and NIT Uttarakhand, cordially invites researchers, academicians, scientists, industry experts, and research scholars to submit their original and unpublished research papers for a Special Session on "Leveraging Artificial Intelligence to Foster Environmental Sustainability" under the International Conference on Mathematical Sciences and Computational Intelligence (ICMSCI-2026).
Leveraging AI for environmental sustainability holds great potential to address pressing environmental challenges and promote more sustainable use of natural resources, ultimately contributing to a healthier planet for future generations. However, it's important to consider ethical implications, such as ensuring fairness, transparency, and accountability in AI systems deployed for environmental purposes. This session focus to identify more crucial research findings in field of AI using intelligent agent that can help to overcome environmental challenges and create a healthier environment for future generations.
This special session is strongly aligned with the core themes of ICMSCI-2026, particularly in the domains of smart computing, intelligent systems, and sustainable innovation. By focusing on the application of Artificial Intelligence and intelligent agents for environmental sustainability, the session bridges theoretical advancements in machine learning, data analytics, and computational intelligence with real-world sustainability challenges. The session contributes to ICMSCI-2026 by encouraging interdisciplinary research that integrates AI-driven decision-making, smart sensing, predictive modeling, and optimization techniques to address critical issues such as climate change mitigation, energy efficiency, resource management, and environmental monitoring. Furthermore, it supports the conference’s vision of promoting technology-enabled sustainable development, ethical AI adoption, and scalable smart solutions for societal impact, thereby reinforcing ICMSCI-2026’s commitment to innovation with responsibility.
