CALL FOR PAPERS
Special Session on
Data Science with Computational and Applied Statistics: Methods, Models, and Multidisciplinary Applications.
Under the International Conference on Mathematical Sciences and Computational Intelligence (ICMSCI-2026)
February 20–22, 2026
The Department of Mathematics, P.G.D.A.V. College, University of Delhi, in collaboration with Faculty of Mathematical Sciences, University of Delhi, IIT Mandi and NIT Uttarakhand, cordially invites researchers, academicians, scientists, industry experts, and research scholars to submit their original and unpublished research papers for a Special Session on "Data Science with Computational and Applied Statistics: Methods, Models, and Multidisciplinary Applications." under the International Conference on Mathematical Sciences and Computational Intelligence (ICMSCI-2026).
The proposed special session focuses on recent advances in data science integrated with computational and applied statistics, highlighting methodological developments, predictive modeling, and real-world applications across disciplines. It aims to bring together researchers and practitioners working on applied machine learning, high-dimensional inference, count and survival models, and advanced statistical learning techniques. The session emphasizes applications in biostatistics, public health, demography, epidemiology, clinical research, and business analytics, fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and data-driven solutions for complex societal, health, and managerial challenges.
The proposed special session is strongly aligned with the core themes of ICMSCI-2026, which emphasize advances in mathematical, statistical, and computational sciences for addressing real-world problems. By integrating data science with computational and applied statistics, the session directly contributes to contemporary developments in statistical modeling, machine learning, and data-driven decision making. Its focus on applications in biostatistics, public health, demography, epidemiology, clinical research, econometrics, and business analytics resonates with the conference’s interdisciplinary vision. The session fosters collaboration between theory and practice, promoting innovative methodologies and impactful applications consistent with the objectives of ICMSCI-2026.
