CONFIDENTIALITY: I have been entrusted with a lot of confidential information this year. I've coached teachers through challenges and have worked with administrators to build EE forms and systems for evaluation. I developed and deployed teachers' self-assessments of their own effectiveness, as measured by the Danielson Framework for Teaching, and assisted administrators in systematically assigning final assessments of teacher practice and banding placements. All of this information has remained completely confidential.
FOR COLLEAGUES' TIME AND ABILITIES: As I work to achieve my mission of providing personalized professional development for all of the staff whom I serve, I treat everyone with the utmost regard and patience. I am respectful of their time, responding to emails, phone calls, and requests as quickly as I can and being prompt and prepared for meetings.
MISSION STATEMENT: As Educational Technology Coach, my goal is to support teachers and students as they leverage technology to make learning engaging, authentic, and personalized. Just as we strive to provide personalized experiences for our students, I truly believe that professional development must also be individualized for teachers who have different technology needs and requirements. I believe that the Pewaukee coaching model works because it allows peers to collaborate without fear of judgment or evaluation. I will always be honest about my technology limitations. If I am unfamiliar with a specific tool or am unsure how to support a specific activity, I will take the time to research and learn before assisting others. I will also be mindful of what teachers are doing in their classrooms, and continue to curate ideas and resources for their specific disciplines.
