During the COVID-19 pandemic, it became imperative that teachers organize and maximize the effectiveness of both their physical and digital spaces. I modeled and assisted teachers in setting up cameras, Zoom and Google Meets, and Canvas LMS modules to facilitate synchronous and synchronous learning in fully virtual, hybrid, and face-to-face environments.
As a Blended Learning Live facilitator, I not only organize space to optimize the activities that teachers experience in our trainings, but I also model various configurations such as stations, caves/campfires/watering holes, and groupings.
My own office is a welcoming space where the door is always open to colleagues who seek assistance, feedback, and/or a listening ear.
Since my specialty is educational technology, It is also appropriate to consider my efficient and aesthetic organization of digital spaces. I design webpages and digital solutions that are visually pleasing and easy to use. I also model and instruct educators and students how to keep their documents and correspondence secure and easily accessible.
