This Week At The Petchey Academy

Dear Parents and Carers,

I hope this you and your families are well and continuing to manage at this tricky, strange time. We anticipate that the Government will make an announcement setting out how children might return to school next Thursday, so we will keep you updated as soon as more details are confirmed. Last week's newsletter included information and advice on recognising anxiety in young people and how to help, but as parents and carers you may also be feeling the strain of the current situation and life in lockdown. Whatever our situation, the lockdown means that everyone is trying to manage a significant change from how life was to the way it is now which is bound to stir up a range of feelings, insecurities and anxieties. A Space counselling service have put together some really useful guidance for parents and carers on the impact of lockdown and how to look after your own wellbeing:

Wishing all of our students and families a safe and enjoyable weekend.

Warm Regards

Clare

Here's just a small selection, go to @petcheyacademy on Instagram to see all of the stunning artwork, craft and cookery.
