COURSE DESCRIPTION

Make eco changes in your own life that benefit both you and the planet. Create a sustainability plan for your life, implement and publicize it. Take field trips to local groups working on sustainability projects. Watch short inspiring videos of folks creating effective change. Listen to a diversity of voices on environmental justice topics. Gain a deeper understanding of how society has impacted your life and then make more conscious choices. Have meaningful conversations with like-minded peers. We will read a selection of short texts that approach a breadth of sustainable living topics from a variety of angles and discuss these in class. Share your own experience with others to help move us more graciously into an ecologically balanced society. You will learn, grow, change. You will be part of the solution. Join us.
