Students will design/edit/produce promotional documents or PSAs (digital, video, or for print), while integrating knowledge from their own field of study, familiarity with today's popular culture, and the community partner’s mission to increase registration of voluntary organ/cornea donors, and honor the brave individuals and their families who make the decision to donate. This course is fully online; no book purchase required. Students are required to attend one synchronous team meeting early in the term; either in person (face-to-face), or virtually (Skype, WebEx, Google Chat) or any other method agreed upon by all meeting participants. In traditional face-to-face classes held on campus, you are expected to attend every meeting. Likewise in this fully-online course, you are expected to login to Canvas regularly. It is your responsibility to remain actively engaged throughout the term: checking Canvas 3-5 days each week, interacting with fellow classmates, and preparing for weekly discussions by reading the weekly resources. Weekly Online Class Discussions in Canvas are a vital part of this course and count as attendance. Instructor offers office hours by appointment.
