The Program Coordinator provides strategic and operational leadership for a particular program.
Leads and facilitates program meetings to address program goals, updates, and challenges.
Approves course substitutions and transfer credits for program related courses.
Leads the design, review, revision, and relevant approval processes of program curricula.
Routinely shares program information with the Student Success Team.
Regularly attends program coordinator meetings.
Supports Department Chair and Course Scheduler with information about course scheduling, faculty assignments, and program workload.
Collaborates with program faculty to identify program plans of study that are in compliance with necessary accreditation, licensure, and institutional requirements, including prerequisites, substitutions as applicable, transfers, and electives.
Collaborates with RAS and Student Success Team to routinely revise all program materials - printed and web-based.
In collaboration with the Director of Assessment and Accreditation, Data Coordinator, and program faculty, engages in developing and implementing program assessment plans, preparing program reviews, and actively contributes to accreditation processes and documentation.
Collaborates with Department Chair and program faculty to address student concerns and grievances related to the program (as needed).
Coordinates faculty to support the Student Success Team’s outreach to re-engage students who are struggling, out-of-sequence, or have stopped attending (as needed).
Leads review of student admission files, coordinates course substitutions and transfer credits with faculty for program related courses, inputs final entry decisions, and/or completes related paperwork in collaboration with Admissions Committees and/or RAS (as applicable)
Responds to RAS's requests to answer specialized questions from prospective students (as needed).
TSPC Licensure-Specific Responsibilities:
Collaborates with appropriate partners to lead the development of a Multiple Measures proposal for students (as needed).
Attends relevant TSPC meetings (as needed).
