Course Scheduling and Rooming

Use this page to find course scheduling and rooming resources, including deadlines, key documents, related Cognos reports, and links. All questions about the course scheduling and rooming process should be directed to coe-scheduling@pdx.edu.

Key Documents

The Detailed Course Plan (DCP) is the College of Education’s course scheduling and room document. The DCP replaces the Annual Course Plan (ACP), and contains all elements essential to the course scheduling and rooming process. 

The Annual Workload and Course Plan (AWCP) is the document department chairs and program coordinators use to work with faculty to identify courses to be taught, buyouts, supervision, grants and external activities, and service.

• Course Change Form - This form can by used by all College of Education faculty to submit course changes

Deadlines

Below are the dates in which the DCP is in “Editing Stage,” the period during which direct edits may be made:

• Fall 2026 - January 26, 2026

• Winter 2027 - June 3, 2026 to July 13th, 2026

• Spring 2027 - July 27, 2026 to October 14, 2026

• Summer 2027 - September 21, 2026 to November 30, 2026

• Fall 2027 - January 11, 2027 to January 25, 2027

Below are the dates in which the DCP is in “Draft Stage”. All changes must be submitted through the course change form:

• Fall 2026 - April 20, 2026

• Winter 2027 - July 13th, 2026 to October 16, 2026

• Spring 2027 - October 14, 2026 to January 18, 2027

• Summer 2027 - November 30, 2026 to April 5, 2027

• Fall 2027 - January 25, 2027 to  April 22, 2027

Cognos Reports
