Participation in the first History Literature Festival hosted by Ahmedabad University provided the Pattani Archives team with an opportunity to showcase the outcomes of their Summer Internship Programs conducted over the past two years. These programs have engaged students from diverse academic backgrounds, contributing to the ongoing efforts to build a robust family archive and establish a broader regional presence.

During the festival, the team participated in various immersive sessions. Additionally, Dr. Tana Trivedi, academic advisor to the Archives, spoke on the panel titled “Tools of History: How Do We Know What We Know”, highlighting the critical role archives play in uncovering and understanding regional histories.

Visitors showed particular interest in the QR codes displayed for accessing oral history audio clips, which allowed them to connect more deeply with the narratives being presented.
