Tales of Anantwadi

We started exploring Anantwadi to understand its evolution over the past few years and its relationship with the Pattani family properties. A variety of archives and oral histories nudged us into this search: looking for the story of urban development and its effect on the cultural narrative within the neighbourhood. Interestingly, such an inquiry led us closer to the people of Anantwadi. The fabric of the neighbourhood has drastically changed over the span of the last 50 years. But the streets are still telling tales from the past.
