Through the 4 months incubation program of "Constructing Personal Archives" every month participants were introduced to a different process of Archiving by experts from the field and CuratingforCutlure. Digitization, cataloguing, building narratives and curating our archives - each step was beautifully shared by engaging participants in a full day workshop packaged with presentation and exercises. These exercises, monthly open dailogues and follow up meets with the cohort members allowed a rich exchange of ideas, resources and often helped find solutions to questions with individual projects. Every exercise helped engage with our collection from a different lens and by the end of the exercise Avni Pattani was convinced her family heritage collection had to be preserved and revived, hence taking on the role of an archivist to establish Pattani Archives.
