Dharti 2022 Conference

Students of Ahmedabad University, under the mentorship of Avni Pattani, Ishita Shah and Dr. Tana Trivedi, submitted a poster at the  Digital Humanities Alliance of India (DHARTI) 2022 Conference: The Digital Divides: Discontents, Debates and Discussions. Chronicling their summer 2021 internship with the Pattani Archives, the students showcased the significance of digital platforms in disseminating history, and creating newer ways of engaging with the archives. While COVID 19 increased precarity and uncertainty of life and living, the experience of learning to preserve history through technology proved to be exciting and meaningful.
