Week beginning - Monday 29th September 2025
Take a peek at all the amazing things we've been learning this week!
This week in Year 4, the children got hands-on with a fascinating digestive system experiment! They explored the roles of different organs in digestion, which inspired some wonderfully imaginative narrative writing based on what they had learned.
In maths, we focused on addition and subtraction with exchanging. Using manipulatives and pictorial representations helped deepen understanding before tackling some tricky reasoning challenges.
A special highlight was our visit to St Andrew’s Church for the Harvest Festival. The children sang three beautiful songs and represented our school brilliantly. A huge thank you to the parent helpers who supported us on the trip!
