Week beginning - Monday 29th September 2025
Take a peek at all the amazing things we've been learning this week!Â
This week Year 3 have been continuing to work on their netball skills. Pupils have been learning about the 'footwork' rule and practicing the bounce, chest and overhead pass in recent weeks. Children are working towards using these skills in small sided games before the end of term. Our Inquiry work this week has led us to discussing the multitude of problems humans had to deal with just to survive during the Stone Age. We have taken inspiration from our new friend Ug - boy genius of the Stone Age, to try to find solutions to these problems, in the hope of travelling back in time and helping the poor hunter-gatherers improve some parts of their lives. The only catch is, we can't take anything else with us, we can only use the tools they had available at the time.

You have demonstrated great knowledge and enthusiasm about our Stone Age inquiry, especially your understanding of rocks and their formation. In PE, you were a principled participant too!
