In Inquiry this week, Year 2 have been writing their own stories about animals having to leave their habitats. The children have chosen their animal and used an impressive range of adjectives to describe their character's adventure! It has been a wonderful way for the children to showcase all of their learning to this point.

In maths, the children have demonstrated a strong and secure understanding of addition and subtraction. Their recollection of number bonds to 10 and 20 has supported them greatly in their learning this week. We are looking forward to see the children continue to apply this knowledge later in the unit.
