Week Seven!
And so another term comes to an end at Leigh Academy Paddock Wood and with it the completion of our most recent module 'How natural disasters shape the earth and how we respond to them'. Children have looked at earthquake proof buildings, plate tectonics, how volcanoes occur, they've studied rocks and where they come from. We love the curiosity this has sparked in the children and have enjoyed them bringing in random rocks for us to try and identify. The module ended with a wonderful talent show for us all to enjoy. We hope you all have a wonderful time over the holidays!

Sarah joined 3G in September and has become an exemplary member of the class both in her behaviour and her work. Sarah has shown herself to be a principled and reflective thinker, who does her best at all times. Well done Sarah.

Saul and Oliver
Saul and Oliver
Oliver and Saul were true risk-takers this week, performing their clowning routine in front of the whole school as part of Paddock Wood's Got Talent. Well done boys for making everyone laugh. We were all very impressed with your stage presence.

Since joining the school Omar has been a shining example of STRIVE, setting a great example to his classmates. Omar is keen to learn and always tries his best in every lesson. Keep it up.
