Week beginning - Monday 8th December 2025
Take a peek at all the amazing things we've been learning this week!
This week, Christmas has certainly arrived in Year 3. Children have been fine tuning their signing and actions for their Christmas performance next week. We also had a delicious Christmas dinner on Thursday to go alongside Christmas Jumper / Socks day! We have also done some learning, with children planning out their escape routes at home incase of an emergency. Don't be surprised if children begin scanning all available exits in each room, testing smoke alarms and instigating fire drills so they can direct you to a safe meeting point. One more week to go!

Lily has been pushing herself hard this week and showing lots of resilience - particularly in her maths work dealing with multiplication and division. It's fantastic to see this side of you coming through Lily - I'm very proud of you.

You have really thrown yourself into all areas of learning this week Frankie. Your eye witness account of a natural disaster was very detailed and you have thought very carefully about the things you might need to take with you in an emergency and reasons for needing them.

This week, not only has Alyssa shown what a rockstar she is by performing in the 'Rocksteady' concert, but she has also shown how knowledgeable she is becoming in Maths, scoring 11/15 on our Multiplication & Division quiz. Great work!
