Week beginning - Monday 3rd November 2025
Take a peek at all the amazing things we've been learning this week!
It has been a great first week back! We have started our new inquiry, looking at migration. Students have been examining migration in the Roman Empire via the Silk Road and they have been writing realistic narratives about the experience of migrants. We look forward to learning about a wide range of different instances of migration in British History and the modern day, considering the reasons why people leave their homes in search of new lands and opportunities.
In Maths, we have been revisiting fractions, considering how to convert into equivalent fractions and how to order and compare fractions, based on numerators and denominators. Remember: when the denominators are the same, the larger the numerator, the larger the fraction. When the numerators are the same, the larger the denominator, the smaller the fraction.
In computing, we have started learning how to work with spreadsheets, using formulas to add a collection of numbers, and find an average.
