Week beginning - Monday 3rd November 2025
Take a peek at all the amazing things we've been learning this week!
This week...
We have reinforced our learning of the phonic sounds s, a, t, i, p, n, c, k, ck, e, h and r. We have started the next unit in our Phonics programme starting with m. Please continue to record any reading that you are doing at home in your child's reading record. This must stay in school all week so that we can record what the children are doing at school too.
Please can you send in a photo of any firework celebrations you have been to by Monday 10th November. We will be sharing these in class.
A massive thank you to those that brought in donations to kick-start our Inquiry this module, all about celebrations and cultures! Our EYFS party was a huge hit and we look forward to exploring our learning further.

For being a knowledgeable risk-taker! Tallulah has shown us a new-found enthusiasm for tackling challenging phonics tasks this week. It is really paying off, especially when she is writing words. We are so impressed with the progress she is making. Keep up the amazing work!

Emma has really shown how knowledgeable she is this week with her phonic knowledge and beginning to write words! She is also a kind and caring member of our class and loves to look after her friends. Well done Emma!
