Week beginning - Monday 3rd November 2025
Take a peek at all the amazing things we've been learning this week!
Year 4 have made a brilliant start to the term, settling quickly into classroom routines and showing a positive attitude towards their learning. We launched our new inquiry by examining a range of intriguing artefacts from an ancient civilisation. The children were curious and engaged, asking thoughtful questions and making connections as they began to explore what defines a civilisation. Their research skills are already shining through as they investigate key features such as governance, culture, technology and social structure.
On Friday, we kicked off our swimming lessons, and the excitement was palpable! The children demonstrated great enthusiasm and confidence in the pool, with many showing resilience and a willingness to challenge themselves. It was wonderful to see their teamwork and encouragement of one another.
It’s been an exciting and energetic start, and we’re looking forward to building on this momentum with more rich learning experiences and fun throughout the term!
