Hello Year 2 Parents and Carers. We've had another fantastic and busy week! We continued our fascinating work on significant people and the children put all their learning into practice by writing their very own biographies. To make their writing excellent, we've had a big grammar focus, learning to use the past and present tense and the difference between writing in the first and third person, which they implemented brilliantly. There was also huge excitement as we have been using the Chromebooks in our lessons. The children showed great enthusiasm for embracing digital technology to support their learning. You might also hear some festive songs starting to drift home, as we have officially begun preparing for our Christmas production! We are all so excited and cannot wait to perform it for you all.
