The Teaching Channel
We know that peer observation and model teaching are among the most valued forms of professional learning for new/early career teachers and they are often the hardest to access.
For these reasons, we are thrilled to announce that every OUSD educator will have a FREE subscription to The Teaching Channel. Teachers, school leaders, and central leaders will be able to access thousands of videos of classroom practice, including scores of examples from classrooms across OUSD.
To log in, watch this video tutorial or follow these written instructions:
Go to this site: https://go.ousd.org/teachingchannel OR find the Teaching Channel app in your Google apps (the 9 dot square at the top right corner of your gmail screen).
Log in with your OUSD email.
Using the drop down menu at the top of the screen (to the right of the Teaching Channel's logo), select Oakland Unified School District.
Click on "Videos" and start your search!
Technical Trouble? First make sure you are logging in with your OUSD email address. If you're still having trouble, email support@teachingchannel.com and let them know you're with OUSD.
