Music plays a key role in the life of Dumbarton Academy, offering every student the chance to develop their creativity, confidence, and communication skills. Our Music Department provides a dynamic and inclusive space where learners can explore performance, composition, and musical understanding across a wide range of styles and cultures.

Whether students are picking up an instrument for the first time or building on years of experience, we support them every step of the way. From solo practice to group ensembles and live performances, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved and share talents with the wider school community.
