About Us 

Dumbarton Academy is a non-denominational secondary school in the town of Dumbarton in West Dunbartonshire. Our catchment area covers the whole of the town of Dumbarton and Milton. We have excellent relationships with our four associated primary schools:  Aitkenbar Primary School, Braehead Primary School , Dalreoch Primary School and Knoxland Primary School.

Our school roll has increased over the last few years; it is currently 695; we anticipate that this will continue to increase in the next few years. Our young people are organized into 4 Houses named after areas of local significance Clyde, Fruin, Leven, Luss.
