Statement of Inquiry: To talk about a past trip it is necessary to use the correct vocabulary and understand how to use different verb tenses.
Competencies
(1) Communication: I can communicate in a clear and connected manner making it easy for audiences to understand what I am trying to express
(2) Creativity: I can create original works and ideas and/or use existing works and ideas in new ways
Assessment
1) Listening Test: students listen and view a Spanish language video about a past trip on their own laptops while answering multiple choice comprehension questions. Students are marked on demonstration of aural comprehension.
2) Writing Test: students write 100-150 words in the style of a blog about a trip to Madrid they imagine they took with their Spanish friend using a multiview postcard from Madrid as the stimulus.
