Diplomas

All students, including students following Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and those enrolled at alternative educational facilities, may obtain a high school diploma by completing the specified course requirements, fulfilling the components of an Individual Career Academic Plan (ICAP), and satisfying the state-mandated non-credit requirements and assessments based on the student’s graduating class.

All qualifying students are encouraged to attend graduation ceremonies and other related senior activities, but attendance is voluntary. Regardless of participation in a graduation ceremony or related senior activities, all students who satisfy the graduation requirements will receive a diploma.

Participation in a graduation ceremony or related senior activities does not guarantee a student will receive a diploma. A diploma will only be issued once all graduation requirements have been satisfied. Any student who is on track to receive a diploma by the end of the school term is permitted to participate in the graduation ceremonies and all related senior activities of his or her graduating class.

Certificate of Distinction
