UH Nominations – Guidelines & Reminder
Anniversary
Wedding Anniversary – Specify the number of years celebrated. and date of celebration.
Loyalty Anniversary – Customers who have been with ShopLC for 10+ years. Mention their experience and appreciation for the brand.
Hospital Stay
Duration of Stay – Specify the number of days, weeks, or months the customer was hospitalized.
Recency – Should be a recent hospital stay.
Discharge & Recovery – Include if the customer was recently discharged and currently in the process of full recovery.
Family/Friend Passing
Relationship – Clearly specify the relation of the deceased person to the customer.
Recency – Ensure it is a recent event and acknowledge their loss with empathy.
Holiday
Long Vacation for Special Events /Out of the Country Trips – Highlight if they traveled with loved ones for a meaningful experience or a significant vacation for a celebration or milestone.
Birthday
Age – Mention how old the customer is turning.
Birthdate – Include the exact birth date for personalization.
Name or Relationship – If celebrating for an immediate family member, specify their name and relation to the customer.
Others (Life Events)
New Job – Customer starting a new career or position.
New House – Moving into a new home.
Newborn Baby – Celebrating the birth of a child.
Graduation – Completing a degree or a major educational milestone.
Host Preferences – If the customer mentions specific ShopLC hosts they love.
Life Challenges – Include events that significantly impact the customer, such as: House fire or destruction.
Natural calamities or disasters they are recovering from.
Situations to Acknowledge, Not Act On (No UH)
Being disabled / in a wheelchair
Blindness / partial blindness
Dyslexia or other learning disabilities
Being homebound
Terminal or chronic illness
Mental health disclosures (anxiety, etc.)
Birthdays (more than a month ago)
Death in the family (more than a few weeks/months ago)
Unemployment or financial hardship
Veteran or service status (if not tied to a discount)
Caring for children or elderly relatives
"I'm a senior" or "on a fixed income"
"I've been a customer for years" (if not verifiable)
Friends' birthdays
Acknowledge with Empathy
"I'm so sorry to hear that, and I appreciate you sharing it."
Acknowledge by thanking them
"Thank you for sharing that with me - I understand how important it is to stay within a budget."
Acknowledgement
"That's so thoughtful of you to celebrate your friend's birthday!
UH Nomination is now done using Case Notes
Moving forward, to facilitate UH Nominations, please mention #UH in case notes with the following details:

Reason Code: VOC Feedback
UH Opportunity Description: [Provide relevant details here]
Reports will be directly pulled up from AMS, and the old manual nomination process will no longer be accepted.
