Why do we encourage a return instead of refusing to receive the package?
Refusing to receive the package may lead to a longer duration of processing time or may result to the package being lost.
Why do we always reinforce the customer to use our return label ?
Our return label is created specifically for a particular order. With our return label, it would be efficient for Shop LC to track and receive customer's return at the same time it helps for a quicker return process by simply scanning the return barcode.
Why do I have to pay for shipping and handling per item even if my orders are shipped in the same package?
Shop LC shipping and handling charge is included for every item sold, regardless of whether the items are shipped together or separately. Since all of our items are hand-picked and packaged, every item purchased is charged for shipping and handling. We do try to combine items if ordered within a close proximity of each other, to prevent customers from having to keep track of individual packages. However, this cannot always be guaranteed, which is why each item is charged a shipping and handling rate.
What is an authorization charge or test charge?
An authorization charge or a test charge is a temporary hold on a specific amount of the available balance on a credit or debit card. This charge checks that the card is valid and has sufficient funds to cover the transaction. The card issuer sets aside the amount but does not transfer yet to Shop LC, thus the amount should fall off back up to 72 business hours or depending on the issuers process. Sometimes it may come in for a dollar, but most of the time it's equal to the initial total of the order.
What are Pre-Orders?
Preorder's are the once that we currently do not have in our warehouse. We process them upon customer request(when customer places an order for the item) and they're shipped out as soon as we receive them.
Note:
No agent should send an email to warehouse team without checking if it's a pre- order or not.
Normally we would still process the upcoming installment or BP EMI for not yet received pre-ordered items or order but, for customer satisfaction you may advise the customer that you can "push-out" the due date.
What are drop-ship orders?
Drop shipping is when a vendor fulfills orders from a third party and has them ship products directly to the customer. In other words, the vendor passes on the sales order to the supplier, who then fulfills the order.
What are Stuck Orders?
A stuck order is defined as a successfully placed order that has not manifested within three business days from the order date (excluding pre-orders). The stuck order will not process and will need to be reordered if available. Please make dure to cancel the order.
Can I Exchange My Order for a Different Item?
No, Shop LC can only replace the exact same item or issue a refund.
What should be done if someone called in about a deceased customer?
Caller should attach a scanned copy of the Death Certificate and email it to customerservice@shoplc.com or mail the copy to our Head Quarter:

When and how does AutoPay process orders?
AutoPay is a computerized automatic payment service that automatically processes an order for all items available under the customer's Raising Auction Cart, within a specified interval. With that, the customer should sign up and agree to our terms and conditions via the Shop LC website. AutoPay will automatically place an order at either 5AM, 10AM, 1PM, 3:45PM, 6PM, 9PM, or Midnight CST, with 50% discount on shipping charges. Completing this process may take an hour.
What are Drop-ship Orders?
Items that are delivered directly from the vendor instead of going through the usual shipment channel are called Drop-ship Items. Although it can take up to 14 working days, it's still not guaranteed. For any queries in this regard, an email should be sent to Tina Fields at tina.fields@shoplc.com.
Shipping Cap Limit vs Online Free Shipping Promotion.
The shipping cap limit refers to the sum total of shipping and handling fees paid by customers for orders placed both through automated systems and with an agent within the same day. Once the customer reaches the $29.99 shipping cap limit, she can receive a free shipping fee for her next orders within 24 hours. On the other hand, our online free shipping promotion is applicable for single orders over $50 placed through the Shop LC website and application. This promotional offer should automatically apply to online orders and can be done multiple times without any expiration date.
