Welcome!

We want to extend a warm welcome to Ms. Ellen McGuire who will be with the Grade 4 class for the remainder of the year. Ms. McCoy has moved to a Resource position to replace Ms. Bednarek. We wish Ms. Bednarek all the best as her family prepares for their special arrival and to Ms. McCoy and Ms. McGuire on their new roles at OLW.

OLW End-of-Year Fun Fair

Friday, June 12! 🎉

The OLW Parent Council is excited to invite all students, families, staff, and community members to our annual End-of-Year Fun Fair on Friday, June 12, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM! Join us for an evening of fun, laughter, and community as we celebrate another fantastic school year.

Pre-sale admission is now closed; however, families are welcome to pay cash at the event. 🎟️ $3 per child

Admission includes unlimited access to the bouncy castles and activity areas throughout the evening.

Activities Include:

🎨 Free Temporary Tattoo Station

🎵 Music and Fun for the Whole Family.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase from several local vendors (additional cost):

Please note that food and beverages are not included with admission.

We will have limited seating available on-site. Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets to relax and enjoy the evening comfortably.

Grade 6 Leave Taking Ceremony 🎓

As the school year winds down, we are excited to celebrate our Grade 6 students and their wonderful achievements as they prepare to move on to the next chapter!

Please save the date for our upcoming Grade 6 Leaving Ceremony:

Date: Tuesday, June 23rd
Time: 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM
Guest Limit: Due to space constraints, each student is allowed a maximum of two guests.
Student Arrival: Students should arrive at school at their regular time (or shortly after) so they have plenty of time to get settled and ready before the ceremony begins.

We look forward to celebrating this special milestone with you and our amazing students!

Playground Fundraising Initiative

School Council is excited to share that we are working toward a new playground structure for our Grade 1–6 students.

Over the years, thanks to your support, we’ve been able to organize school events and fund initiatives such as student activities, graduation support, Chromebooks, and outdoor equipment. Now, we’re taking on our biggest project yet. This is a large goal, and we’ll be working together as a community through fundraising events and initiatives over the coming months and years.
