Printing is free for school-related needs (eg. work to hand in, scripts for French plays etc.), and 10 cents a page for personal copying (eg. resumes, swimming lesson plans, receipts from online shopping etc.).
print from anywhere in the building using a desktop, chromebook or your own device
you may be asked to log in to choose the printer - use your SCHOOL login
choose the printer that says "Library" in the name
pick up your print job in the library
TROUBLESHOOTING:
if the Library printer doesn't show up as an option in your list of printers check to see if you are logged in using your school account (especially if you're on your phone or your own laptop)
if you have confirmed that you are logged in correctly and still don't see the Library printer, send Ms. Barbour a note. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do in the building to give you access to the Library printer - we need to have a technician at the Board fix that issue
avoid printing straight from websites - the formatting can confuse the printer which "thinks" according to paper size - always choose the "print" version on a site
RULES AND CONSIDERATIONS:
Please print double-sided whenever possible
Don't print full slideshow presentations with dark backgrounds - go into the print options and choose the "print" feature - this reduces the amount of toner (ink) that is used
Printing class-sets of handouts (eg. surveys) or flyers for events is 10 cents per page any time. Consult your teacher-advisor about photocopying for clubs, events, and performances.
