Canadian Points of View Reference Center Database

The CPOV is a database containing resources that present multiple sides of a current issue — including information on key topics of interest to Canadian researchers — this database helps you develop persuasive arguments and debates, better understand controversial issues, and develop analytical thinking skills.

CPOV also has alternative content delivery options such as text-to-speech, translation, and adjustable font. In addition, the database includes multimedia content, student research guides and citation help.

This brief tutorial created by Halton Hills Public Library can walk you through the features, navigation tools, and search strategies to help you get the most out of this resource.
