Middle School Course of Study
Middle School Production Design
Set Design: Students learn essential techniques of observation, basic concepts of two-dimensional design and forms that get translated into three-dimensional design.
Stage Management: Students will learn essential skills through Stage Management, such as: organization, planning, and leadership, multi-task, to stay calm under pressure, to pay attention to details.
Sound Design: Students will be introduced to audio manipulation and audio systems design, in live concerts, theatrical production and other performances.
Lighting Design: Students will be introduced to the fundamental principles of lighting design and get hands-on experience with lighting equipment available in typical professional settings.
Projection Design: Students will learn how to live mix, camera, film and motion graphics, compose images for projection, and projectors setup.
High School Course of Study
High School Theatre Production and Advanced Theatre Production
Set Design: Students learn techniques of observation, understanding of composition, esthetics, concepts of two-dimensional design and forms that get translated into three-dimensional design. Creating design, by drawings, software and cardboard models.
Set Construction: Students learn safety, essential techniques of carpentry, welding, scenic painting, foam sculpting, and any needed building techniques, to serve the production’s put forth.
Stage Management: Students will develop skills through Stage Management, such as: organization, planning, and leadership, multi-task, to stay calm under pressure, to pay attention to detail. They will be in charge of running the production’s put forth.
Sound Design: Students will be introduced to audio manipulation and audio systems design, in live concerts, theatrical production and other performances.
Lighting Design: Students will be introduced to the fundamental principles of lighting design and get hands-on experience with lighting equipment available in typical professional settings.
Projection Design: Students will learn how to live mix, camera, film and motion graphics integrated into a Theatrical Production, Concerts, or Fashion Show.
