2025-2026 School Year FAQs:
When did Q3 End? Quarter three ended on Friday, March 13th. Work is no longer being accepted for that grading period. Please reach out to individual teachers for information on specific classes. Teachers will resume answering messages on Monday, April 13th.
When and How Do I Choose Classes for Next Year? Course registration for OSA classes will happen at the end of April. Rising 9th through 12 graders will select classes using PowerSchool and will get access to next year's high school course catalog after Spring Break. Middle Schoolers will be placed in their courses, so they do not need to participate in class registration.
What if I Need to See How I'm Doing In Classes and/or I Need Help With Coursework? Students and parents/guardians can view grades on PowerSchool. If there are any questions about specific grades/assignments, you can reference the Google Classroom and/or reach out to teachers. Teachers will resume answering messages on Monday, April 13th.
Should I be Applying to Scholarships? Yes! There are scholarships available to all high school students, not just seniors. We recommend that you make accounts on Scholarships.com and Fastweb.com to get started. You can also check out the High School Scholarship Log that Ms. Peña updates regularly.
How Do I sign Up for Community College Classes for the Summer and Fall of 2026? Students can register for Spring 2026 college courses by following their dual enrollment processes. All high school students will receive an email from Ms. Peña on the week of April 13th with step-by-step instructions on how to register for a Peralta class. What if I Need Help with PowerSchool? For help with accessing PowerSchool, please reach out to studentrecords@oakarts.org.

Who Can I Contact if I am a New Student or If I Have Other Enrollment Questions? If you have any questions about re-enrolling for the 26/27 school year at OSA, summer arts academy, coming into OSA as a new student, or internal transfers, you can reach out to enrollment@oakarts.org.
