Week 6: Shader Graphs
For this Assignment, I decided to make two shader graphs that will eventually help me with my midterm project: a Space-like texture, and a cloud texture. Overall, the process was not too difficult, but it was time consuming and I met a few difficulties along the way.
First, I did the Space/Universe shader graph. This was pretty easy to make. I used "Noise" and different colors and "Time" to make the stars effect. However, in the screenshot I was following, I there was a certain effect f colors of stars that I was not able to recreate. I tried to find why but wasn't able to.
As for the second Shader Graph, I wanted to recreate the effect of clouds. This process was also enjoyable. i used Noise, and Time and created variables to control the volume, color and speed of the clouds from the inspector window directly, without manipulating the shader graph.
Jiapei: Wow! Both of your shader graphs work very well I think. I really like how you make this cloud so realistic with mostly noise nodes!
Pauline: This is so cool!!! I love the noise and the stars and the clouds too. They look realistic but also futuristic. Excited to see what you'll make!
