This week in PE...
Kindergarten had their first PE in the gym! We got to play a fun locomotor movement game all around the gym. When the music started, students would do the movement such as skipping, galloping, walking, running, jumping, hopping, side sliding or leaping. When the music stopped, students had to sit down and wait to see what the next movement was going to be! We also got to add in some animal movements such as a crab walk🦀

2ND-5TH GRADE: CASTLEBALL🏰🏰🏰
Our older grade levels got to practice and learn how to play different versions of Castleball. This is a game we play several times a year in PE and a game we would leave with a substitute teacher. Our week focus was to learn games for when there is a substitute teacher in PE.
The goal of castle ball is to protect your hula hoop castle from getting knocked down WHILE also playing offense and knocking down the other team's castles. Students learned how to build a hula hoop castle and had to work together as a team to re-build their castle back up.
