All CCSD sites with multiple stories should have a med sled available for evacuation purposes when elevators are non-operational and occupants are unable to use the stairs to exit the building. All schools with multiple stories were supplied with two med sleds as part of the standard school equipment. Replacements and additional sleds are available in the Purchasing catalog.

Training on the proper use of the med sled is available in the ELMS library. A search for the key word "sled" will bring up the training module.
