Year 8 Celebrating Differences Day

As part of our on-going work on diversity we hold an off timetable day on Celebrating Differences. This enrichment day includes a variety of activities and workshops around the theme of celebrating difference and diversity. Students have a welcome talk from the charity SARI (Stand Against Racism and Inequality), and then participate in workshops such as African Drumming, Bollywood Dancing, Mandarin taster sessions, Mental Health Awareness, LGBTQ+, Human Rights, and Disability Awareness.

Year 10 Visit to Shepton Prison

As part of our work around crime and the law we work closely with the Police and were lucky enough to experience for one day what happens when someone gets arrested and what a stay in Shepton Mallet prison would be like!
