School is closed and there is no new work assigned to students. Stay safe and warm!
Encourage students to read, play indoors or outdoors (as able), and minimize screen time.
We’re excited to invite our preschool to 2nd-grade students and their families to a fun-filled Literacy Night! Join us for a delicious meal and engaging activities that will show you how to help your little ones build their reading skills at home.
Stay tuned for an RSVP coming soon, so we can make sure there's enough food for everyone. We can’t wait to see you on Thursday, December 12!
K-2nd students should report to their classrooms between 5:15-5:20.
3rd - 5th grade siblings will sit with their parents in the audience
K-2nd students will be dismissed at 6:00, and can be picked up in their classrooms.
3rd - 5th students sitting in the audience to see their younger siblings perform can report to their classroom at the intermission.
All other 3rd -5th students should report to their classrooms between 6:00-6:10.
Students should be picked-up from their classrooms after the performance.
The snow has started flying. Please dig out all those warm clothes needed for our Iowa winter ahead. We have wonderful community partners who have allowed us to be able to provide attire for any child in need. Please reach out to a staff member if you need assistance obtaining a coat, snow pants, boots, hat, or mittens/gloves.
40s and lower: Minimum: Coat, Hat, and Gloves. If forgotten, the school provides loaner hats, gloves, and coats to those who request them. They are washed after each child's use.
Snow & Equipment Play: Snow pants and boots are required. No snow pants or boots, must stay on the plowed area.
Recess will always be outside unless: actual temp or Feels Like temp drops below zero (0), ice makes it unsafe to go outside, rain, or other extenuating circumstances.
Please, text 515-218-1206 to indicate any last-minute changes, before or during school. Include student name(s) and transportation change. For example, John and Jane Doe will not be riding bus #4 tomorrow morning.
