January Bison Spotlight Students of the Month
School is closed and there is no new work assigned to students. Stay safe and warm!
Encourage students to read, play indoors or outdoors (as able), and minimize screen time.
2022-2023 school year, we are planning two flexible learning days. We will not have two flexible learning days in a row. The first potential Flexible Learning Day will be January 16. Sometimes referred to as E-Learning Day.
Breakfast is available every day for students, even if they are late or buses are delayed. Students are able to eat in the cafeteria until 8:20 a.m. After that time they are given a Grab 'n Go breakfast to eat in the classroom.
The only time that breakfast is not served is on a 2-hour delay, as students go to lunch shortly after arrival.
The Kindergarten - 5th grade second quarter report cards will be sent electronically on Friday, January 20. These will be sent via email to the primary contacts (parents/guardians) listed in JMC. Please reach out on Monday, January 23 if you did not receive their report card.
Preschool report cards will not be sent home until the end of February as they grade on a trimester basis.
Please ensure that students have warm clothes, including hats and gloves. We have wonderful community partners that have allowed us to be able to provide attire for any child in need. Please reach out to a staff member if you need assistance obtaining a coat, snow pants, boots, hat, or mittens/gloves.
40’s and lower: Minimum: Coat, Hat, & Gloves. If forgotten, the school provides loaner hats, gloves, and coats to those that request them. They are washed after each child's use.

Recess will always be outside unless: actual temp or Feels Like temp drops below zero (0), ice makes it unsafe to go outside, rain, or other extenuating circumstances.
