It is getting very chilly. Please send a hat, gloves, and warm coat with your child to ensure they are comfortable in this colder weather. Keep in mind there is an AM, Noon, and PM recess. 

Third, fourth, and fifth graders are very independent but are often the age group that forgets to bring these items consistently. 

Classes will be celebrating their fall class party on Friday, October 28. Costumes are welcome on this day. No weapons (even fake) or face paint is permitted at school. 

Being Respectful, Responsible, and Safe at school is referred to as The Bison Expectations. Each month teachers acknowledge a Bison Spotlight Students of the Month for exceptional demonstration of these expectations. Also, when a student or class demonstrates respectful, responsible, or safe choices they earn gems for their class mason jar. When the jar is full they earn a class reward, such as extra recess or bringing a stuffed animal for a day.  Those full jars go toward a count of a school reward. The goal is to fill 25 jars to earn an all-school pajama day, so far students have filled 15 jars. This is just one of many ways our school focuses on teaching and demonstrating positive behaviors.
