Elementary and Middle School Parent - Teacher Conferences 

The conference scheduler will be open for Fall Conference sign-up, on October 5th. Please sign up for a conference with your student's advisor and Special Education Teacher as needed. Conferences will be held on November 7 & 9 between 3:00 - 7:00 PM either day. Elementary Teachers will be in their classrooms.

Mrs. Hobbs is located in Room #117. Mrs. Peterson is located in Room #222 (Second floor). Miss Henn will be located in Room #222(Second floor). Mrs. Jutting is in Room #223 (Second floor).

Middle School Teachers will be in the Main Gym. Any students not signed up by October 20th will be assigned a time and date. To change your conference after October 21st, please contact Trisha Hassebroek for Middle School or Chris Davis for Elementary. trisha.hassebroek@northiowa.org or chris.davis@northiowa.org

NO SCHOOL November 10th, compensation day for staff.

Classes will be celebrating their fall class party on Tuesday, October 31. Costumes are welcome on this day. No weapons (even fake) or face paint is permitted at school. 

It is getting very chilly. Please send a hat, gloves, and warm coat with your child to ensure they are comfortable in this colder weather. Keep in mind there is an AM, Noon, and PM recess. 

Third, fourth, and fifth graders are very independent but are often the age group that forgets to bring these items consistently. 

There is a new text feature to communicate transportation changes. Please, text 641-458-0223 to indicate any last-minute changes, before or during school. Include student name(s) and transportation change. For example, John and Jane Doe will not be riding bus #4 tomorrow morning. 

Picture Retake Day with Jamie Lynn Photography is scheduled for Tuesday, October 24th starting at 8:30 AM in the Makerspace. Retake day is for those that were absent the first session (Sept. 19 & 20) or for those who want a retake. Please bring unwanted pictures to the photographer that day.
