Her Answer

I like my major, I like chemistry and I think I can teach very well and I can give that information to the students well

It's more challenging within dealing with the students, and I'm teaching subjects I didn't teach before but it's really nice here and the students are nice.

When the student told me I'm their favorite teacher and they love my lesson a lot.

His Answer

I want mass communication. When I entered college I majored in math as well as education in my 3rd or 4th year. I passed the test for educators. When I first became a teacher I was teaching at UIPS, I have experience in calculus and geometry.

My students, I love my students, they are very dear to me, I like teaching. All teachers teaching younger kids will be remembered forever, “you may forget me but don't forget what I taught you.”

To see my students learning, seeing them improve and my football or volleyball teams winning a match.

His Answer

The key to succesful teaching in Mr.Jason's opinion is engagement, thinking of a creative way to inspire, have challenge so the material sticks with them for application.

There have been many positive changes, starting with student behaviour, students are initiating positive things like iftar for staff, they are involved in their uniforms.

Mr Jason finds it special that the entire community, teachers, students, parents, are all coming together and becoming cohesive

Mr. Gerlyn C.

Her Answer

Before I was a teacher I was an animator for a while I'd completely forgot about art and teaching as a career  but once I went to one of my little brother’s PTA meeting the idea of teaching as a career came to me, and the first time I entered the class I knew I loved it

The students are great, they're pretty good, every single student I've had a good encounter with, they are motivated, they are kind and they really try their best always, in my class anyways.

Putting up all my work in the art classroom and giving it so much life, its so good

Her Answer

She's been in NIS for 6 years simply because she enjoy sports and wanted to affect change into her students. Her favorite sport is NetBall.

Her Answer

Ms Gerlyn's opinion of the key for succesfull teaching is the following. The first step to being a better teacher is to be more effective and efficient in terms of teaching in regards to our 21st century students and it should always be student centered learning with an equal learning approach with student choice and voices must always be practiced.

Its really evident that there are changes in students' approach, students have practiced their choice and voice and we are giving them the action to choose what they would like to learn and teachers giving them the choices.

The integration of NIS into the community, connecting students and teachers with parents is very evident
